Rhubarb Revival Workshop

Rhubarb Revival Workshop at the Walker House ![]()
Join us on Saturday, June 6th from 12–2 PM at the Walker House for a special presentation and hands-on workshop with the Bruce Botanical Food Gardens, featuring Victoria rhubarb—the oldest still-cultivated heritage variety, introduced in 1837 to honour Queen Victoria.
Discover its fascinating history, learn how to grow it successfully, and explore delicious ways to use it. Enjoy a taste of heritage with fresh scones and homemade rhubarb jam straight from the garden, and learn how to make refreshing rhubarb iced tea to enjoy all summer long. Each guest will also take home a rhubarb seedling and recipes to continue the experience at home.
Tickets: $20
Spaces are limited—pre-registration is required.
